Alternative Fuel Vehicles
In support of sustainable transportation, TECO Energy supports the development and deployment of alternative fuel vehicles (AFVs). Both Tampa Electric and Peoples Gas have websites designed to help customers looking to buy AFVs. The sites offer information about vehicles available on the market, industry developments and our own Green Fleet of alternative fuel vehicles (AFVs). They also cover issues of interest to AFV customers, including frequently asked questions and even a history of electric vehicles dating back to 1835.
