The Business Cooperative Education (BCE) High School Program recruits students from local high schools to give them the opportunity to work in a professional environment. Typically, students involved in this program work full-time during the summer and part-time after school for the remainder of the school year. Most of the hiring for the BCE program takes place in the months of April and May. Students begin their training full-time in the summer.
Steps to program consideration:

With the company's tuition reimbursement program, I earned a bachelor's degree in organizational management while working full-time. Today, as a human resources manager, I think back to one of several inspiring leaders who planted the seeds that have helped me grow in a career I thoroughly enjoy. He said you've got to have the right mix of hard work and fun--humor is healthy. This philosophy and our corporate culture have served me well and I think I've served the company well in the process." — Kelly Sloan, Human Resources Manager Tampa Electric |
Students will be responsible to provide their own transportation to and from work every day.
