TECO Energy Announces 2006 – 2008 outlook webcast

TAMPA, March 31, 2006

TECO Energy, Inc. (NYSE:TE) today announced that it plans to webcast an update to its 2006 and longer-range outlook on Tuesday, April 11, 2006 at 12:30 PM Eastern time. The webcast will be concurrent with a presentation to financial analysts.

The update will include a discussion of the company’s longer-term outlook for the 2006 through 2008 period.

The webcast can be accessed by following the link on TECO Energy’s home page at or on the Investor page of TECO Energy’s web site. It will be available for replay for 30 days, starting approximately two hours after the conclusion of the live event.
