TECO Energy companies get a new look in brand refresh

New logo brings in elements from parent company Emera

TAMPA, October 2, 2017

Today TECO Energy unveiled a new logo for each of its Florida companies, the first major branding change in more than 20 years. The new logo incorporates colors and brand elements from TECO parent company, Emera.

“We’re excited to share this new company look with our customers and the community,” said Sarah MacDonald, president of TECO Services Inc. “This brand refresh retains some of the familiar TECO branding and adds the Emera icon, better aligning us with our sister affiliates.”

Customers can see the new logo today on the companies’ websites and social media channels. Going forward, Tampa Electric and Peoples Gas will retire the former branding through attrition. Community partners can request logo information online at
